About Us

Schema Online Solutions SOS is an international, online-based therapy institute ​founded in 2022, specializing in providing top-notch schema therapy and schema-​therapy-inspired life coaching globally via our secure online platform.

Our services are delivered by a highly selected team of internationally based Schema ​Therapists from around the world, all officially recognized by the International ​Society for Schema Therapy (ISST), offering sessions in multiple languages. To date, ​our therapists have jointly helped hundreds of clients achieve their goals and find ​solutions to their long-term issues.

As Schema Therapists, we understand that adaptation is key to evolution. The ​mental health landscape has seen significant changes over the past decade, ​especially due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, civil unrest, and regional conflicts. ​These events have dramatically increased the need for effective and accessible ​mental health services. However, many people who are in need live far from ​established Schema Therapy centers, making it very difficult to access these life-​changing services. This is where we aim to make a difference by narrowing the ​treatment gap.

 Offer Maurer, Ph.D.

General Director and co-founder of the Schema ​Online Solutions SOS Institute, Offer is a clinical ​psychologist and an ISST certified Advanced ​Individual Schema Therapist, Supervisor and ​Trainer. He is the co-founder/co-director of the ​Israeli Institute for Schema Therapy and the former ​chairperson of the Israeli Forum for Relational ​Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy.

Dr. Maurer is a guest lecturer at various ​international programs on LGBT and sexuality ​issues, Schema Therapy, and psychotherapy ​integration. He is the founding director of the ‘Gay-​Friendly Therapists Team’ (2001), the first gay-​friendly psychotherapy institute in Israel.

Based in Lisbon and London, he offers online ​Schema-Therapy-informed Life Coaching for ​individuals, couples and groups.

Elizabeth Lacy, LCSW

Director of the Addictions Unit at the Schema Online ​Solutions SOS and co-founder of the Institute, an ​accomplished psychotherapist and clinical supervisor based ​in New York City with over 25 years of experience in the ​mental health field. She holds advanced certifications in ​schema therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) ​protocols, and emotion-focused couples therapy (EFT).

Elizabeth is a leading authority in treating complex mental ​health issues like personality disorders, sexual/addictive ​behaviors, and couples therapy. An active member of the ​Sexuality, Trauma, and Attachment Network in NYC, she has ​trained clinicians internationally for the past decade and ​supervised masters/doctoral therapists for 15 years.

Elizabeth’s extensive knowledge, empathetic approach ​focused on mental health/trauma/relationships, and ​commitment to innovative solutions earned her recognition ​as a top NYC therapist by New York Magazine in 2022.
